Hayman is a private island occupied by a Resort. It is on the extreme south of the Whitsunday, archipelago of incredible beauty situated on the Great Barrier Reef.
After checking-in at the airport of Cairns, you will directly find your luggage in your magnificent hotel room. During the first part of your journey, which is by plane, you will be able to admire a dream-like seascape, from above then you will reach the island by a luxurious yacht where, while being offered champagne, you will look over marvellous views of the islands close to you.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the surrounding landscape and it doesn't create changes in the environment; it is surrounded by a tropical luxuriant vegetation and by a nursery of rare plants; it also has a large half-moon beach of white and fine sands; its pentagonal swimming pool crossed by teak footbridges is a valuable architectonic work; interior and exterior furniture is elegant and of good quality, enriched by Australian works of art.
The rooms are large, fresh and luxurious with marble bathrooms.

A buffet breakfast offers a great variety of sweet and salted dishes, cold or warm, of European or Oriental cuisine in a fashinating setting.
When you are satisfied by such a luxury, a series of paths well indicated on a map that you will find in your room will let you experiment a full immersion in the wonderful tropical nature surrounding you. The walks can be completed within 3 or 4 hours; they include the visit of a wonderful desert beach on the other side of the island and some incredible lookouts on the whole archipelago.
